Es hat uns so gut gefallen und wir haben die Eindrücke der Reise versucht in Bildern festzuhalten. Wir wünschen euch viel Freude beim Betrachten und Lesen, aber vorsicht, das Fernweh könnte euch packen.

Salvador da Bahia - -ca. 13 Mio Einwohner - im Stadtkern ca. 3 Mio

Obst gibt es hier immer und in Hülle und Fülle, z. B. die beliebten Koskosnüsse und deren Kokoswasser, ein Allheilmittel in allen Lebenslagen, das konnte ich am eigenen Leib erfahren, als ich am 3. Tag einen Hitzschlag bekam und mein Kreislauf ( die Circulation ) streikte.

There are many many fruits, for example the beloved coconut and its water, a very good and natural medicin for all kinds of diseases, as I could recognice on my own body, when I had a sunstroke and my circulation was in a bad shape. The coconut water helped my body and circulation with all the minerals and vitamins.

Dem heiligen Franzikus wurde neben der Schildkrötenaufzuchtfarm eine kleine Kirche gebaut

This church was dedicated to the holly Franziskus, next to a turtle farm, where they raice the turtles and later they will be put back into the ocean

 Der Himmel ist wolkenschwer verhangen und trotzdem haben wir 28°C

Zwischendurch aber immer wieder Möpse knuddeln und Ronaldo genießt es sichtlich

In between we allways took our time to cudle the pugs and Ronaldo seems to love it

Das ist Calvin, der bekam von uns ganz schnell einen neuen Namen verpasst - Putto (Schlingel)

This is Calvin, but very quick we had given him a new name - Putto (naughty boy)

Es ist Winter in Brasilien, deshalb hatten wir die Restaurants und Strände immer für uns alleine

It`s wintertime in Brazil, though we were quiet alone in the restaurants and on the beach.

Eigentlich sollte man sich nie unter eine Kokospalme stellen, die Gefahr von einer Kokosnuss erschlagen zu werden, ist nicht zu unterschätzen

You should never stand underneath a cocopalmtree, it`s very dangerous, because the hit of a coconut could be the end of your days.

So wird Kokoswasser serviert, im Naturbehälter. Keine Sorge, es schmeckt gut, Jutta schaut immer etwas skeptisch in die Kamera.

This is the way cocowater how to drink cocowater, pure out of the coconut. Don`t worry, it tastes quiet good, Jutta allways looks a little sceptic into the camera.

Zu Besuch bei Freunden, Henrique und Soraya, deren Pool auf Augenhöhe mit dem Regenwald liegt

Visting friends, Henrique and Soraya, from their pool you have a wonderfull sight into the rainforrest.

Hinter uns das atemberaubende Panorama des Regenwaldes, der nur durch den Fluss vom Haus getrennt ist.

Behind us the breathtaking panorama view of the rainforrest, only the river below is sepperating the house from it.

Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft die uns Henrique und Soraya entgegenbrachten

Am Rande des Amazonas schliesst man auch mal Bekanntschaft mit einem echten Amazonas Papagei

Close to the Amazonas you will be able to get in touch with a real Amazonas Parot

Henriques ganzer Stolz, derzeit einer hochprämiertesten Rottweiler aus seiner Zucht, ein Prachtbursche.

Henriques pride, a Rottweiler of his own breeding, who is doing very well in the showring, what a gorgeous boy.

Und das ist nicht was ihr denkt, es ist eine Kakaofrucht, und Jutta überlegt, wie man die Bohne aus der Frucht bekommt. Ob dafür eigens Kakaobohnenablutscher eingestellt werden?

No, this is not what you tink, it`s a cocaofruit, and Jutta thouhgt about, how to get the beans out of the fruit.

Schaut euch diese Farne an, die wachsen hier meterlang herunter und immer, die obligatorische Hängematte.

Am nächsten Tag durften wir Elisabeth in ihrem Haus mit Privatstrand besuchen, traumhaft schön.

Next day we were invited to see Elisabeths house with a private beach, we felt like in a dream

Ja - genau so hatten wir uns das vorgestellt

zu spät, die Hose hat`s erwischt, aber bei den Temperaturen beklagt sich Jutta nicht

So zu wohnen, tja, das hat was und ließ und glatt ins Grübeln kommen.

To live like that, well, we had something to think about

So sieht ein Supermarktparkplatz aus, alles Überdacht wegen der Sonne und natürlich dem tropischen Regen, der plötzlich und heftig einsetzt und genauso schnell wieder der Vergangenheit angehört.

Neuer Tag, neuer Strand, diesmal in Villas, einem weiteren Stadtteil von Salvador

Another day, another beach, this time in Viallas, another part of Salvador

An dieser Strandpromenade stehen hübsche Wochenendhäuser, dieses z.B. gehört einem brasilianischen Sänger.

At this boardwalk we could see nice weekend recidences, like this here, it belongs to a brasilian sing star

Zwischendurch kosten wir auch die brasilianische Küche

In between we also tasted the brasilian cuisine

Ein nettes Lokal in dem man leckeres Eis, sahnelastige Kuchen und die härtesten Crepes der Welt essen konnte

A very nice restaurant, where we could eat tasty icecream, creamy cakes and hardest Crepes (pancakes) of the world

Das ist Sky, die jede Nacht zusammen mit Tito über unseren Schlaf gewacht hat *Bussi Sky*

This is Sky, who was watching over our save sleep every night, together with Tito *kisses to Sky*

Es ist eine absolute Seltenheit, dass ein Mops aus Brasilien nach Frankfurt fliegt. Umso größer war die Überraschung, als wir ein nettes italienisches Pärchen trafen, die den selben Flug mit Mops gebucht hatte.

It`s an absolute rarity, that a pug travels from Brazil to Frankfurt. It was a big surprice, when we met an the nice italian couple, who had boked the same flight with their pug.

Kein Lebewohl, nein, Auf Wiedersehen Brasilien, es war traumhaft schön.

We say good bye Brazil, but not forever, it was fantastically beautiful.

Ich sage noch mal DANKESCHÖN an Kurt, Eva und Hagen, die uns als Hundesitter unterstützt haben, an Christa, die unsere Babys bestens gepflegt und umsorgt hat, an Karin die mir mit ihren wertvollen Ratschlägen zur Reise und dem Import hilfreiche Unterstüzung geleistet hat und an Anne, die uns so herzlich aufgenommen hat.
