Welcome to the Rosepugs Kennels Germany
Dogs have always shared our life. We are very grateful for all the joy and love that our dogs bring into our lives daily.
In 2000 the first little pug moved into our home. It was one of my greatest wishes to be accompanied by a pug. Her name was Martha, she was a black, quite vain pug lady and she was a showgirl. She was able to aquire the German Youth Champion Title and after that a few national titles, but unfortnately her career was finished at an early age by a hysterectomie. We were definitely in infectet by the pug virus now and Rudy Trudy, an extraordinary black pug girl, moved in. She was an even better showgirl than Martha, born to show off her beauty, no doubt about that. Once she set one of her little catfeet in the ring, it was showtime, Euro Dog Youth winner 2002, Luxemburg Youth Champion 2003, Clubwinner German Pugclub 2003,German Champion 2004 and many national titels were the results of her show career.
At that point we decided to start breeding pugs and registered our kennel name “Im Namen der Rose”
( which means “on behalf of the rose” ) with the FCI.
The rose is a very traditional sign of our family dynasty, the Stumms, they were organ manufacturers and "stumm" means as silent as a fish. The rose stands as a symbol for "as silent as a fish".
In 2004 our first litter was born out of remakable Othello and Rudy Trudy vom Ulmer Haus, who are the cornerstones of our breeding program for our black pugs. We kept their son “Im Namen der Rose Alfonso I.”, and that was the best decision ever, his offsprings have already won quite some titles in the showring and are absolutely adorable family companions as well.

We founded our fawn breeding program on the Sheffield's line of pugs, and we also have other outstanding bloodlines, like Nabuco`s, Sasquehanna and Nanchyll.
Truly exceptional by all means is our fawn stud Darwin Pug Palaimon, we are very fortunate to own him. His offsprings carry all of his positive traits. He is perfectly structured with heavy and straight bones, his movement is fluent and impeccable, he has a headpiece beyond belief and a truly classic pug face with wonderful eyes. He clearly is a lover.

In 2007 our family expanded and my son Hagen registered his own pug kennel “Rosetale`s”.
The foundation stock was the Rosepug girl “Im Namen der Rose Hera” and “Sasquehanna Dwusetka”. The pug passion lives on in the next generation.
Meanwhile we have bred a few Champions and our studs have contributed to create some outstanding pugs all over Europe. They excel as showdogs and are most beloved family companions.

Our puppys are raised exclusively in the house as family members. We take care of them with lots of love and prepare them for a life as well socialized pets and showdogs in the this world.
The best foundation for their future lives is the health and the fitness of their parents, we put great emphasis on that fact as you can see at their pictures in the “Galerie” picture shows.
All our puppies come with VDH/FCI certified pedigree, they are dewormed on a regular basis, they are vaccinated, carry a microchip and have an EU-passport. Also they will have a DNS fingerprint certification. Since we only breed very selectively and very few litters, you should be ready to wait for up to 12 months if you are interested in a puppy from us.
